Apple has officially launched its iOS 15.5 update after first making it available to developers last week.

Most of the changes that come with iOS 15.5 are minor tweaks to apps and updates that seem to lay the foundation for larger changes down the road.

The most significant updates include enhancements to the Apple Cash card in the Wallet app, which now allows customers to send and receive money, and a new Apple Podcasts setting that allows users to limit episodes stored on devices and automatically delete older ones.

Additionally, with iOS 15.5, Apple has tweaked the “memories” function of photos. Photos will no longer recommend memories from sensitive locations. Another change includes the iTunes Pass feature for Wallet being renamed “Apple Balance.” Users will now find a separate card in Apple Wallet for Apple Balance, similar to how a credit card shows up in a person’s Wallet.

And, iOS 15.5 offers more support for SportsKit as Apple brings live baseball into its content catalog and makes it available on Apple TV.

This is expected to be Apple’s last update to the iOS 15‌ operating system given that the company is expected to announce iOS 16 at its Worldwide Developers Conference this June.
